Hold The Faith Line

Once again, the loved one that I had invested so much time, money, effort, and prayer in had failed to respond to God, choosing to break his word even to show up, both apathetic and resistant to the importance.

Sick with disappointment, discouraged, and, yes, angry, I asked God, “How should I handle these unresponsive people?”

Keep him on the faith line,” he answered. “Hold the line, trust me to do what I need to do, and free your soul.”

“Don’t let him off the faith line.” Was that a lifeline—my attachment to faith--and my main job was not to let go? Yes, just by not giving up I was doing enough for now.

But what if I had a visible reminder of the faithfulness of God?

Therein was born the “Covenant Keeper,” a symbol of the enduring trustworthiness of God and our partnership.

Therefore, dear friend, it is with love that we offer the Covenant Keeper, so that (1) you never doubt that God is true to his word, (2) you never fear that your faith is big enough, (3) you never worry that you have forgotten to pray for a need recently, or (4) you  never give up from discouragement. Write your request for a person or a problem, stake it to a Bible truth, and place it inside. Although God is always working, as long as you do not pull your prayer request out and tear it up, your faith is working too. This is your mustard seed, and it is “enough.” You have entered into a sacred pledge.

In addition, pick up the torch for an aunt, or grandparent, or friend who has gone to be with the Lord with unanswered prayers. Commit these petitions along with yours in this little faith box, and with full confidence you will have entrusted your cares with THE Covenant Keeper.

Olive Wood Box (Black)

The Covenant Keeper box is manufactured in Bethlehem by a family carpentry business specializing in olive wood products and using only tree prunings, never illegally rooted-out trees. With many biblical references, the olive tree represents the Holy Land and is considered a symbol of peace, the dove returning to Noah after the flood with an olive branch. Some scientists believe that the oldest olive trees may be 4000 years in age.

American artist Teresa Carnes created the drawing of the Ark of the Covenant with enhancements by Dr. Stan Maples. Boxes were hand-sanded and laser engraved in the USA. With no two boxes identical, slight imperfections occurring naturally in the wood and variations in the laser engraving,
